Lakeside Logistics is a multi-service 3PL, providing a single point of contact for planning, system design, transportation management, inventory management and monitoring throughout the supply chain.  Our operating philosophy is captured in three words - people, process, and technology. During our 21 years in business, we have continuously developed new services that help our customers to optimize their supply chain management and sharpen their competitive edge.

Lakeside’s primary focus is cross-border logistics extended to domestic distribution to provide our customers with point-to-point service. With over 3,000 carrier partners across North America, we are ready to move goods from either side of the border 24/7.

In early 2007, in recognition of the overall issue of sustainability, and in particular climate change, Lakeside appointed a Director of Sustainability to evaluate the environmental issues facing the company, and to design and implement programs that are consistent with our corporate philosophy.   Under the banner of Vision Green, Lakeside is taking action in the logistics industry to reduce its environmental footprint.  With the goal of being Carbon Neutral by year end, we have initiated a series of changes to meet our goal.  We have established a Green Team, who act as ambassadors to recommend green initiatives, and eliminated bottled water from our facility on August 1 (20,000 bottles per year).  We are changing the paper we use to FSC certiified product, and we have reprogrammed our computers to shut down more efficiently to realize real power savings.   We have also started sourcing clean, green power from Bullfrog Power.

We are committed to making changes within our business to become more sustainable. Our ultimate goal is to support our customers in their quest to become more sustainable and work with our carriers to help achieve that vision.  At Lakeside, we recognize that sustainability is not a short term project, but a lifelong responsibility that we owe our employees, our community, and those we do business with.
